Brand Names like Macy's, Ralph Loren and Ruby Tuesday used Nolan for their visual effects within their stores.
Nolan has bought and sold as well as auctioning some of the most unusual items to come on to the market. John Nolan opened his first shop in the mid 60s in Hamilton Square Birkenhead (England). By 1970 he had shops both in the cities of Liverpool and Manchester. In 1976 he opened his first of many shops, showrooms, warehouses and Auction Houses in the USA. Atlanta Georgia became the hub for the sales side of the business and the City of Liverpool was the location of the export side of his antique trade.
From 1983 to 2000 John Nolan has restored part of the Lancashire Village of Halsall. A very historical as well as picturesque village, steeped in history. The Manor, The Hall, Coach House and Tithe Barn have been painstakingly restored to its original glory. Also he has built 6 new houses in the gated community of Halsall Manor.
The Southport Antique Centre and The China Shop, China Outlet and The Antique Department where all opened in Southport England between 2000-2005.
John Nolan has always been known as the THEANTIQUESMAN so it was logical for him to trade on the Internet as theantiquesman .com. His online business has gone from strength to strength.
